PASTORS NEWSLETTER FOR JULY 2026.
Hello to you all! One of the reasons that I am a Christian is that following Jesus Christ for life means that you and I have the privilege of receiving and being the bearer of GOOD NEWS!
There Are 3 parts to this Good News
1. YOU ARE NOT ALONE: we are not just a bunch of chemicals floating along in an uncaring, unknowing, universe. There IS a God, He DOES exist and he DID create us! BUT, you may ask: “What about all the pain, disasters, hatred and bloodshed that stains our world ?If God is so good, what has gone wrong ?”
The Bible is very clear that this world is no longer the perfect place that God intended: Human sin (selfishness, greed and evil) has spread like a cancer. BUT, the second part of this Good News is that…..
2.THERE IS A BETTER FUTURE In the very last book of the Bible (Revelation) the same God who made the world, makes this promise:”.. he will wipe every tear away, death will be no more, nor sorrow nor pain...All these things are gone forever.” There WILL be a new heaven and a new earth where people who have decided to follow Jesus, will live forever.
That is because (the 3rd part of Good News)….
3. YOU ARE LOVED: This is the best news of all. There is nothing so bad you and I have done that will make God love you and I less, and nothing so good that you can do that will make God love you more!
So... will you accept Gods Good News and turn to him today? Life, dear friends, is too short to waste it, not knowing the Creator who made you.
