We are a fellowship of Christians who believe we are called by God the Father, saved by God the Son and empowered by God the Holy Spirit to serve Him within Barnstaple, in North Devon and to the ends of the earth.
There has been a Baptist church building in Boutport Street since 1833, and while the exterior has remained relatively unchanged over the intervening years, the inside is warm and welcoming.
Our Sunday worship is contemporary, whilst remaining true to age-old Christian tradition. We sing new Christian songs, together with the great hymns of faith - the words being displayed on the screen at the front. Song books are available for those who might need them.
