We meet in a listed building in Boutport Street in the heart of Barnstaple, beautiful North Devon and the street has been home to a Baptist church since 1833. Whilst the outside has remained unchanged the church family inside are warm and friendly. We are a fellowship of Christians who believe we are called by God the Father, saved by God the Son and empowered by God the Holy Spirit to serve Him within Barnstaple, in North Devon and to the ends of the earth.

We gather for worship every Sunday at 10:30 a.m., and our worship is a combination of contemporary and traditional. We sing new Christian songs and the great hymns of faith - the words being displayed on the screen at the front. Song books are available for those who might need them.and there are a variety of groups and activities taking place throughout the week.

Barnstaple Baptist Church is a member of the South West Baptist Association, the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and Churches Together in Barnstaple.
